That glance is not from Xiang Zhi Li, he was... (Spoiler-ish) looking for something. What he is looking for? I won't spoil. He has his own motives and was not looking for Linghu or trying to punish him. In fact, if you look carefully at Xiang Zhi Li's expressions, he noticed Linghu, he didn't care and was simply scanning the ships.

Yun Lu visited Linghu, partially under request of Dong Xuan Er and Wang Chan to make a deal.

Dong Xuan wanted her dad to spare as many lives as possible.

Yun Lu himself wanted Hong Fu (Senior Sis/Aunt) because she is his woman and mother of his daughter.

Basically, Yun Lu, Ancestor of Demonic Sect (He Huan) is more humane than Linghu and worse of all, Yun Lu is a petty scum. Not even the most magnanimous Nascent Soul - It is reserved for the strongest Nascent Soul before Han Li replaced him.

There was no reason to reveal Xiang Xili so early. His actual reveal was suppose to freak out the viewer as much as HanLi.

Aw man what a emotional episode especially that moment at the end for seniors Hongfu and Li, the way they looked at each other like its " now or never" a final fight to the death for them was indeed another great episode, I hope they do manage to pull through and survive this war. Also I been wondering bout something, and feel free to share your opinion on the comment, but I'm been wondering how come some studio's never do Live action adaptation of these donghua's, like you usually see them as " slice of life " anime like school drama one's. I know there are some, but not like the ones we are watching and many other donghua's you know.

I mean I get budget, and money cost you know the story as to flow and be on par with the novel, and the CGI gotta be top notch. However I would be down to watch this as a live action show.

You dont want to watch the live-action of it lol, most of the time the adaptions bears very little resemblance to the novel, much less the donghua, so you are left between 10 - 30% of the content from the source material

I see that's why they mostly make it out from " slice of life" cause it hits closer to reality. Like have you seen the live action adaptations to " Bleach", " Tokyo Ghoul", and " Death Note". Am I seeing false or do you think the animation quality was kind of disappointing?? I was watching and it seemed like their mouths were stiff, and the characters at points looked kind of like PS3 graphics or close to the lower quality donghua like "Tales of Demons and Gods (YAO SHEN JI) throughout the episode ahaha.

Why is the episodes are just filled with fight scenes.... And these fights are so long and repeating with all the moves and all. This is becoming like One Piece. The fight will last 20 episodes before it is done.

It'll probably end next episode because up till now, you have Core Stages each other, Cultivators in general are very difficult to kill because just imagine in an MMO, they are the class that puts all their points into HP, Hp regen, defense and magic def... even their mages who are supposed to be nukers.

But I say it'll probably end next episode because Yun Lu, one of the ten Nascent Souls in the region has arrived. Nothing much Li Hua Yuan (Han Li's master) can do.
